The manufacture of one cotton T-shirt consumes an average of 2,700 liters of clean water. By using recycled materials instead of virgin cotton, we have managed to save 2,689,878,600 liters of water (as of December 2019). We have recycled 381 214 kg of textile industry cutting waste and given it new life in the form of clothes.
Cotton is one of the most used fibers in the textile and garment industry. Even though it is a comfortable natural fiber, it exerts a heavy burden on the environment. Growing cotton requires a lot of clean water, and it is often farmed in areas with little rain and other problems with clean water availability.
We try to reduce the use of clean water by using recycled cotton in our manufacturing process. For our manufacturing process, no virgin or new cotton needs to be grown. That is our commitment to help reduce the waste.
